1. General Policy

TheWebScoder provides customized digital services tailored to each client's unique requirements. Due to the nature of these services, refunds are limited and are subject to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. No Refund for Change of Mind

Once an order has been confirmed and payment has been received, no refund will be issued if the Client changes their mind. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Deciding not to proceed with the project.
  • Choosing another service provider.
  • Business closure or restructuring.
  • Financial or budget constraints.
  • Internal management decisions.
  • Delays caused by the Client.
  • Personal reasons unrelated to TheWebScoder.
  • Any circumstance where TheWebScoder is ready and willing to perform the agreed services.

A change of mind does not constitute grounds for a refund.

3. Commencement of Work

Work is considered to have commenced once TheWebScoder begins any activity related to your project, including:

  • Project planning and consultation.
  • Research and strategy.
  • Design concepts or wireframes.
  • Website or software development.
  • Branding or logo design.
  • Content creation.
  • SEO implementation.
  • Marketing campaign setup.
  • Procurement of third-party products or services.

Once work has commenced, payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

4. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are non-refundable once purchased or commenced:

  • Website Design & Development
  • E-Commerce Development
  • Custom Software Development
  • Mobile Application Development
  • Logo Design & Branding
  • Graphic Design
  • UI/UX Design
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Google Ads Management
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Advertising
  • Social Media Management
  • Content Writing
  • Website Maintenance
  • AI & Automation Services
  • Domain Registration
  • Web Hosting
  • SSL Certificates
  • Business Email Services
  • Third-party Software Licenses
  • Premium Plugins and Themes
  • Stock Images or Licensed Assets
  • Advertising Spend
  • Any bespoke or custom-built solution developed specifically for the Client

5. Third-Party Products and Services

Any fees paid for third-party products or services purchased on the Client's behalf are strictly non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Domain names, Web hosting, and SSL certificates
  • Premium themes and Plugins
  • Software licenses and API subscriptions
  • Stock photography and Advertising budgets

These purchases are governed by the policies of the respective third-party providers.

6. Project Delays and Abandonment

The Client is responsible for providing all required information, approvals, content, and feedback necessary to complete the project.

  • If the Client becomes unresponsive for more than thirty (30) consecutive days, the project may be placed on hold.
  • Projects that remain inactive for ninety (90) consecutive days may be considered abandoned.

Refunds will not be issued for abandoned projects. Reactivation may be subject to additional fees and scheduling availability.

7. Final Delivery

Once the Client has approved the completed work, received the final deliverables, or the website has been deployed to a live environment, the project shall be deemed complete. No refunds will be issued after final delivery or project completion.

8. Service Modifications

Any additional features, revisions beyond the agreed scope, or changes requested after project approval may be quoted separately and are not covered under any refund request.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have any concerns regarding our services or billing, we encourage you to contact us directly so we can work towards a fair resolution. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting TheWebScoder may result in the suspension of ongoing services and access to project deliverables where permitted by law.

TheWebScoder reserves the right to contest fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks and to pursue recovery of outstanding amounts through appropriate legal or collection procedures where permitted by law.

10. Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional situations, where TheWebScoder determines that a refund is appropriate, any decision to provide a full or partial refund shall be made solely at the Company's discretion. Nothing in this policy obligates TheWebScoder to issue a refund unless required by applicable law.

11. Policy Updates

TheWebScoder reserves the right to amend or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will become effective immediately upon publication on our website. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Refund Policy.
